Not seeing clients nor accepting new clients at this time. The information below this paragraph is from my previous practice, though currently I am not seeing clients . My current focus is giving talks on environmental psychology and specifically ecopsychology. This has been an area of interest of mine for many years. In the last decade, this interest has taken on an urgency due to concern for environmental damage that has impacted vital ecosystems and the very survival of future generations. Conversely, appreciation of nature has also been gaining attention for it's capacity to relieve stress, help focus and improve overall sense of well-being and improved mental health. A collective shift to more awareness and nature based thinking and actions can also lead to increased social awareness that has the potential of leading to more sustainable environmental practices.

As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your fuller potential and lead a life that is happier, more relaxed and fulfilling. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
As a couples therapist (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist), and having worked with Couples for more than 37 years, the primary objective is to bring better communication, more happiness and longivity into relationships utilizing years of observation as well as current research in relationships and communication.
As, a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), I also specialize in therapy for clients who have had brain injuries, navigating the myriad of changes that have occurred in their lives, sense of self and relationships. I am happy to work with families, partners or spouses of individuals who have had brain injuries, as family members often experience very significant adjustment difficulties, as well.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
